A couple of days ago I wanted to paint my nails and I have a colour of polish that puzzles me. I find it too light to use on it’s own and I find myself using it as a backing colour whenever I use an animal print effect. It is called Barry M Silvery Lilac and I used it as my base colour. It is very feint and I painted two coats. It glides on very smoothly and is a thin polish.

I then used a stamping plate BM 215 which has a snakeskin effect and stamped it onto each nail. This design I think could be used with every colour, light or dark and I really want to try it out with darker colours to see how it looks.
