London 2012 Olympics Team GB win Gold Caviar Nail Art

This morning the Athletics began at the London 2012 Olympics. Yesterday was an amazing day for Team GB bringing our Gold medal tally to five. I decided to honour this achievement by making a gold (medal) caviar manicure.London 2012 Team GB win Gold Caviar Nail Art with Barry M Gold Foil by Nailtart.com

I painted each nail with Barry M Gold Foil and then used the caviar beads I purchased from ebay. This time I painted my nail with a nail adhesive rather than just using a layer of wet polish. The adhesive is the type that you can use to add nail art gems to your nails. It is quite thick like PVA. I poured the beads on and got a better coverage. London 2012 Team GB win Gold Caviar Nail Art with Barry M Gold Foil by Nailtart.com

I also found that once dry the beads didn’t fall off in quite a dramatic fashion as the last time I tried this manicure so I think I have got a method which is a bit more durable! London 2012 Team GB win Gold Caviar Nail Art with Barry M Gold Foil by Nailtart.com

I’m keeping all of my gold fingers crossed for many more gold in the athletics over the next couple of days!
