Stamping is quite a recent craze of mine and I have gone a few days without having done any so this evening I thought I would try out a stamp that I haven’t used before.
I used plate BM 217 which has the nail crescent shaped stamps on it. I firstly painted my nails using Barry M Vivid Purple. This is one of my favourite polishes by Barry M as the colour applies really smoothly and gives an even finish.
I used Barry M Gold Foil for the stamping colour. This polish is amazing to stamp with and showed up so clearly on this purple.
I did the first stamp and I don’t know if it is because I hold my stamper strange but I managed to stamp my first nail at an angle. To be honest I quite liked the effect so I stamped them all in the same way. So the stamp goes half way down my nail rather than just across the tip.
You can see from this picture how badly angled my hand must be when I try to stamp! I think though the stamp looks like the sun rising and that is why I have named it Golden Sunrise.
